School Committee to hold budget hearing
The Harvard School Committee will hold a public hearing on the budget on Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall meeting room. Copies of the budget will be available at the meeting, can be viewed online at www.psharvard.org, or can be requested from the superintendent’s office (978-456-4140 or mzadroga@psharvard.org).
Parks and Rec announces boat storage lottery
Harvard Parks and Recreation announces the opening of the boat storage lottery for the 2011 season. Limited canoe racks, moorings, and boat slips are available and will be issued by lottery at the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on Monday, April 18. Registration for the lottery is open now through Sunday, April 17, at the Parks and Rec website at www.harvardparkandrec.org.
Soccer host families wanted
The Harvard Soccer Club is looking for families interested in hosting soccer trainers who will be working with its soccer players and coaches this spring season. The trainers are visiting from England, and both are young men in their early 20s. All come highly recommended and have previous training experience in their background.
