Building upon the success of last year’s inaugural event, Fivesparks (formerly the Harvard Cultural Collaborative) will host the second annual Harvard Music Festival, June 17-22. Acclaimed performers, selected young artists, and experienced amateur musicians will visit Harvard for a week of workshops, coaching, and performances. This year’s theme is “Explore/Invite/Engage,” celebrating the improvisatory spirit of making music happen in community. On Friday, June 21, the events (both of which are free and open to the public) are:
9 a.m. – Quartet 1078 rehearsal at UU Fellowship Building; Fiorente Quartet coaching at 27 Willow Road
10:45 a.m. – Florida Trio coaching at Congregational Church; VW Quartet rehearsal at UU Church
