In the past week, police made 73 motor vehicle stops, 42 resulting in verbal warnings, 28 in written warnings or citations, and one in a civil citation, which carries a fine; one car was towed. Officers also checked on three disabled vehicles and made two well-being checks.
Tuesday, Aug. 11
At 9:40 a.m a resident came to the station to report receiving threats. At 10:29 a.m. a Glenview Drive resident reported a number of mailboxes there had been vandalized overnight. At 3:23 p.m. an officer investigated a case of larceny, forgery, or fraud and filed a report. At 10:14 p.m. a 911 caller told police a fallen tree was blocking the road near the intersection of South Shaker Road and Stonecutters Path; the Department of Public Works removed the tree.

Thursday, Aug. 13
At 5:15 p.m. a caller said a hawk was standing in the roadway on Stow Road; the animal control officer was informed. At 6:05 p.m. someone reported three bags of trash had been tossed along the road from a passing car near Mass. Ave. and Woodchuck Hill Road.
Friday, Aug. 14
At 7:13 a.m. a woman told police she had been walking her two dogs on Old Littleton Road when another dog attacked them; the animal control officer was notified. At 10:04 a.m. a Still River Road resident reported people were riding dirt bikes through the caller’s hayfield. At 5:40 p.m. a caller described a case of road rage in which the caller had first been chased by another car and then had responded by chasing that car on Littleton County Road; Littleton police had stopped both drivers.
Saturday, Aug. 15
At 2:30 p.m. a resident asked for police help in dealing with an unwanted person at the caller’s home, but the caller then said the person had left. At 2:44 p.m. a Littleton County Road resident reported an e-bike had been stolen from their driveway.
Sunday, Aug. 16
At 9:22 a.m. Hudson police asked a Harvard officer to contact a resident whose lost wallet and passport had been found in Hudson. At 9:25 a.m. police received another call about an unwanted person at a resident’s house; police removed the person.
Monday, Aug. 17
At 10:03 a.m. an officer filed a report of suspicious activity; no further information was available. At 3:11 p.m. a resident notified police about a no-trespassing order the resident had obtained.
