Move to the music of ABBA. Cast members of Bromfield’s Skylight Youth Theater will bring selections from the spring musical, “Mamma Mia,” to the senior center Wednesday, March 4, at 1 p.m. for a sing-along.
Movie day at the senior center. The film “The Call of the Wild” featuring Harrison Ford will be shown Thursday, March 5, 1 p.m.
Experience “Elevated: An Orchid
Exhibition” at the New England Botanic Garden, Friday, March 6, with captivating aerial sculptures by artist Cicely Carew. The van leaves at 10 a.m., tickets $17 at the door.
‘Irish Voices.’ Actor and educator Stephen Collins will perform his one-man show Tuesday, March 10, 1 p.m. Collins will explore Irish culture, history, and landscape through storytelling, bringing to life works by renowned Irish writers like Yeats, Joyce, and McCourt.
Backing up your files. Adam will cover the basics of backing up important digital files (documents, photos, music, videos, contacts, text messages). Two sessions: Friday, March 13, 11 a.m. (Windows); and Friday, March 20, 11 a.m. (Apple). Space is limited.
Repair Cafe. On Saturday, March 14, 1 to 3 p.m., volunteer repair experts will be available at the Harvard Senior Center to help make repairs free of charge for small electrical appliances, clothing, furniture, toys, and other broken items.
The Brown Bag Concert Series at Mechanics Hall will present Women in World Jazz Wednesday, March 18. The van leaves at 10:30 a.m. Lunch is not provided; bring your own or buy from the concession stand.
Book club is starting Wednesday, March 18, 1 p.m. Bring your ideas, suggestions and enthusiasm, as we work out the kinds of books to choose and how often the group will meet.
The Harvard Lions Club health and activity fair will be held at the Hildreth Elementary School Saturday, March 21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will find eye, hearing, and blood screenings and may talk to professionals about diet, personal safety, and other health-related issues.
Building a life in retirement. On Tuesday, March 24, at 1 p.m., Henry Quinlan of Omni Publishing will explore the emotional side of retirement, including loss of identity and aversion to change, and will show that a meaningful life is about how you live and who you connect with.
Movies for grown-ups. This 2025 sequel to the film “Freaky Friday” has a multigenerational twist that keeps audiences laughing until the end. With Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan; rated PG. At the Harvard Public Library, 4 Pond Road, Monday, March 30, 1 p.m.
Lithium-ion batteries are an efficient source of power for portable electronics, but can overheat, catch fire, and even explode if damaged or improperly used, charged, or stored. On Tuesday, March 31, at 1 p.m., Harvard Fire-EMS members will discuss how to safely buy, charge, and recycle these essential items.

Does your doctor use telehealth? The senior center is now a telehealth hub, and if you don’t have a computer, you can use one of ours to have an online appointment with your doctor. Call the COA for details.
Weekly grocery shopping. The van to Market Basket in Littleton departs Fridays, 10 a.m.
Congregate meals are served Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon at the senior center. Meals on wheels can also be arranged.
Fuel assistance is available in a state program open to both homeowners and renters; income limits apply. Assistance is also available through HEAT (Harvard Energy Assistance Team.) Call the COA for help in applying.
Help with computers. Adam is available Tuesday and Friday mornings for one-on-one computer training or anything related to computers or technology. Call the COA (not Adam) for an appointment.
COA van guidelines. There is no fee for the use of the van. To schedule a ride, call the COA; 48 hours’ notice is requested, but not more than one month ahead. Wheelchair users must be accompanied by a companion.
