With its win over Ipswich last week, the No. 2 seed girls tennis team advanced to the semifinals of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 4 Girls Tennis State Tournament for the first time since 2012. A victory over No. 7 seed Manchester Essex Regional on June 11 would send the team to this year’s finals.
Bromfield’s three qualifying athletes distinguished themselves at the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Meet of Champions held at Fitchburg State June 5 and 8. Senior Evelyn Wool and junior Rosie Bradley finished sixth and seventh respectively in the girls 2-mile, and senior Vasilis Psathas finished fifth in the boys high jump.

- 6/5 and 6/8 MIAA Meet of Champions. All three Bromfield entries won medals. Senior Vasilis Psathas finished fifth in the boys high jump (6-4) while senior Evelyn Wool finished sixth (10:57.89) and junior Rosie Bradley seventh (11:01.03) in the girls 2-mile. See story above.
