The Ambulance Service responded to six calls and transported five patients to the hospital, all with Advanced Life Support services on board. There were no motor vehicle collisions requiring ambulance service, and no one needed a lift assist.
Wednesday, May 14
At 6:45 p.m. firefighters took part in training with a medevac helicopter on Prospect Hill Road.
Friday, May 16
At 9:40 p.m. a carbon monoxide detector went off at a Turner Lane home; the duty officer found no trace of the gas, and the homeowner was advised to replace the detector. At 11:17 p.m. Engine 2 and the tower truck responded to an alarm at a house on Old Littleton Road; there was no smoke or fire, and the owner was asked to have the alarm system serviced.
Saturday, May 17
At 2:24 p.m. a carbon monoxide alarm began chirping at a house on South Shaker Road; the duty officer found no trace of the gas and advised that the alarm be replaced. At 4:53 p.m. firefighters were called to Mass. Ave., but the report for that call is not yet available
