Knights of Columbus fish fry

The Harvard/Bolton Knights of Columbus will hold a fish fry Friday, April 11, 5 to 7 p.m., at Holy Trinity Church, 15 Still River Road. Fish dinner includes hand-breaded cod, fries, and coleslaw for $13; kid-size portions and mac and cheese options $5. Take it to go or stay and enjoy your meal; proceeds benefit local charities. All are welcome.

Bromfield coffeehouse

The Bromfield School’s literary magazine “The Review” will host its annual spring coffeehouse Friday, April 11, 7 to 9 p.m., in the school cafeteria at 14 Mass. Ave. For a $10 entry fee, support student performances and artwork while enjoying cozy snacks and beverages.

Easter egg hunts

The Harvard Family Association will host an Easter egg hunt and spring celebration Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m. to noon, on the Common. Activities will include face painting, touch-a-truck, Easter Bunny photos, and a bubble dance party. Firearms of the American Revolution

The Harvard Historical Society will present “Muskets and Minutemen: Arms of the Colonial Soldiers” Thursday, April 17, 7 p.m., at the meetinghouse at 215 Still River Road. Learn about muskets and rifles used by the British and colonists during the American Revolution, and see examples held by the Historical Society and in private collections. Learn about the operation of these guns, their manufacturing, and how muskets and rifles differ. No live firing. Visit harvardhistory.org for more information.

ACLU benefit concert

Musicians for the Greater Good will present a concert of protest and social justice music Friday, April 18, 7 to 9 p.m., at Fivesparks, 7 Fairbank St., to benefit the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts. Shred old documents

The Harvard branch of Rollstone Bank will provide shredding of unwanted documents Saturday, April 19, 9 a.m. to noon, at 283 Ayer Road. Bring old tax forms, bank statements, credit card bills, or any paperwork with sensitive, confidential information. Documents will be shredded securely on site. Free and open to the public.

April 19, 1775: The British viewpoint

Mark Nichipor, local historian and former National Park Service ranger, will present a program on the British point of view of the historic events at Lexington and Concord Saturday April 19, 1 p.m., at the Fort Devens Museum, 94 Jackson Road, Devens. What did the British know about supplies at Concord and in the countryside? How was the march to Boston conducted? The presentation will explore the British side through first person documents and accounts to provide a new perspective of the day’s events. Free and open to the public, wheelchair accessible.

Annual senior conference

State Sen. Jamie Eldrige will host his annual senior conference Thursday, April 24, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, 215 Fitchburg St., Marlborough. The program includes resources for seniors, speakers from the Legislature, yoga, vendors, live music, and raffle giveaways.

Healing Garden Gala

The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden will hold its annual gala Thursday, May 1, 6 p.m., at Nashoba Valley Winery, 100 Wattaquadock Hill Road, Bolton. Join for a live and silent auction, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and more, all in support of programs and services and celebrating 25 years at the garden. Spring Soiree

The Harvard PTO Spring Soiree will happen Friday, May 2, 5:30 to 10:30 p.m, at Craft Food Halls, 500 Beaver Brook Road, Boxborough. This disco-themed event will feature a raffle, dancing, and music by the Wednesday Night Project and Madame DJ Beth Cooper, with appetizers, dinner stations, and cash bar. Sounds of Stow

The Sounds of Stow chorus and orchestra will perform Sunday, April 13, 2 p.m., at Littleton High School, 56 King St., Littleton. Brunch with the author

Grow Native Massachusetts will host a conversation with New York Times opinion writer and bestselling author Margaret Renkl Sunday, April 13, 10 a.m., at the Bull Run Restaurant, 215 Great Road, Shirley. Renkl will discuss her book “The Comfort of Crows,” 52 chapters that follow the creatures and plants in her backyard over the course of a year. Living history programs at Minute Man National Historical Park

Minute Man National Historical Park will hold a full day of living history programs and demonstrations Saturday, April 19, 9 a.m. to dusk, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Events include tours and demonstrations, open houses at Hartwell Tavern and Smith House, and the Parker’s Revenge tactical demonstration, the signature event featuring hundreds of volunteer reenactors.
