At 2:36 p.m. an alarm went off at a Myrick Lane home, but the duty officer found no smoke or fire. The detector was past its expiration date, and the homeowner was advised to replace it.
Friday, April 19
At 12:40 p.m. the duty officer helped the Ambulance Service at a Littleton County Road residence. At 12:55 p.m. the tower truck crew helped the Department of Public Works remove some tree branches over Littleton County Road. At 2:58 p.m. the forestry truck, Engine 2, and the tanker extinguished a brush fire on Old Littleton Road; it had burned an area about 100 yards square. At 7:49 p.m. someone reported an illegal burn on South Shaker Road; the duty officer found two fires burning well past permitted hours, and the owner put them out.
Saturday, April 20
At 1:10 p.m. the duty officer responded to an alarm at a Shaker Road house; it had been set off accidentally while some work was being done.
Monday, April 22
At 7:49 p.m. Engine 2 and the duty officer investigated an alarm at a house on Depot Road; the alarm was malfunctioning, and the homeowner was advised to have it serviced.
