Bromfield trivia night
The Bromfield School Quiz Team hosts its annual trivia night Friday, March 15, at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Contestants face questions on art, geography, history, literature, pop culture, science, math, and “Name That Tune.” The event is open to all Bromfield students and community members.
Warner Free Lecture
On Friday, March 22, at 7 p.m., at Volunteers Hall at the library, former senior attorney in the state Supreme Judicial Court Barbara Berenson will discuss her book “Massachusetts in the Woman Suffrage Movement.” Berenson is the author of “Boston in the Civil War: Hub of the Second Revolution” and “Walking Tours of Civil War Boston: Hub of Abolitionism” and is a lecturer at Harvard Law School. This lecture is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Harvard. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For more information, go to warnerfreelecture.org.
Bloom N Art returns
The eighth annual Bloom N Art, a collaborative show of the Garden Club of Harvard, the public schools, and Fivesparks, takes place at Fivesparks, 7 Fairbank Street, Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, noon to 4 p.m. The event celebrates the relationship between artwork and floral arrangements, pairing art created by Bromfield School students with flower arrangements by members of the Garden Club. Free and open to the public.
Easter egg hunts

- The Harvard Family Association will host an Easter egg hunt on the Common Saturday, March 30, at 10:30 a.m. Meet the Easter bunny, take family photos in the photo booth, and play lawn games. Bring your own baskets and a nonperishable item for the Loaves & Fishes food pantry.
Garden Club panel discussion
The Garden Club of Harvard will meet Monday, March 25, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 15 Still River Road, to explore 2024 garden resolutions. The panel discussion will focus on how to transform dreams to actual landscapes, using natives, annuals, and perennials. The public is welcome.
Lizzie Borden play
The Harvard Woman’s Club will present “Lizzie Borden and the 40 Whacks,” by the Delvena Theatre Company, Monday, April 1, at 12:30 p.m., at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 15 Still River Road. The performance includes a mock trial that invites the audience to participate by questioning Lizzie, and voting on her guilt or innocence. All are welcome. Free admission; donations welcome.
Climate stories
On Saturday, April 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fivesparks, 7 Fairbank Street, Climate Stories Project director and musician Jason Davis will give a presentation and performance of original music featuring the recorded voices of people from around the world speaking about their responses to climate change. Cub Scout breakfast
Ayer Cub Scout Pack 32 will host a breakfast fundraiser Saturday, March 16, from 7 to 11 a.m., at Clear Path for Veterans New England, 84 Antietam St., Devens. There will be all-you-can-eat eggs, pancakes, and bacon for $8; tickets at the door. Proceeds help send scouts to summer camp who might otherwise not be able to afford to go. St. Patrick’s Day music
Rakish, comprising violinist Maura Shawn Scanlin and guitarist Conor Hearn, will perform a St. Patrick’s Day matinee show at the Parish Center for the Arts, 10 Lincoln Street, Westford, on March 17 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18-$25 and are available at pcawestford.org. Children’s book launch
Marietta Apollonio, Harvard resident and author and illustrator of picture books, will be launching her newest book, “Wombat and the Family Tree,” with a story time at the Silver Unicorn bookstore, 12 Spruce Street, Acton, on Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m.
