The Ambulance Service responded to six calls and transported four patients to the hospital, one with Advanced Life Support services on board. There were two collisions requiring the ambulance. No one needed a lift assist.
Tuesday, March 12
At 6:33 a.m. Engine 2 was called to the Route 2 crash; the crew cleaned up debris and stayed on the scene until a tow truck arrived. At 4:36 p.m. the fire chief saw smoke near Warren Avenue; he investigated and found a homeowner had nearly extinguished his permitted fire.
Wednesday, March 13
At 10:22 a.m. a Shaker Road resident called to say a fire alarm seemed to be going off; the duty officer found it was a malfunctioning doorbell.
Friday, March 15
At 11:34 p.m. a fire alarm sounded at an Ayer Road residence. It was the first of several alarms to go off that night; none was a fire, but the reports of the various causes are not yet available.
Saturday, March 16
At 12:16 a.m. another alarm came in from Ayer Road. At 5:18 a.m. an alarm came from Depot Road, and at 6:46 a.m. another came from Mass. Ave. At 6:55 p.m. Engine 2 was called to a crash on Interstate 495 northbound, but Bolton canceled the call.
Sunday, March 17
At 5:18 p.m. Engine 2 responded to an alarm at a home on Armstrong Road; the cause was burned food.
Monday, March 18
At 1:48 p.m. a carbon monoxide detector went off at a Stow Road house. The duty officer found no carbon monoxide in the building and advised the owner to replace the batteries in the alarm.
