Wednesday. Feb. 28
At 8:18 a.m. the Fire Department was called to the collision on Route 2, but the call was canceled and Littleton firefighters dealt with the incident.
Thursday, Feb. 29
At 2:44 p.m. Engine 2 and the ladder truck were called to Woodside Road, where an uprooted oak tree had fallen on a house. However, there was little help the crews could give, and a tree company soon arrived.
Saturday, March 2
At 10:35 a.m. a 911 caller reported a burning smell at a residence on Trail Ridge Way. Engine 2 and the tower truck responded. Firefighters found that cooking had tripped a circuit breaker, which led to the smell of burning electrical material, but there was no fire. The owner was advised to call an electrician.
Sunday, March 3
At 3:44 p.m. the duty officer dealt with a false alarm at a Clinton Shore Drive home, where a fire alarm had been triggered accidentally.
Monday, March 4
At 5:33 a.m. a faulty detector triggered an alarm at a Prospect Hill Road house. Another false alarm came in at 9:10 a.m. from a carbon monoxide alarm at a Shaker Road home; that alarm was apparently triggered by a power glitch.
