The COA reminds those who receive meals-on-wheels to make sure driveways are plowed and sanded and there is a clear path to the door for volunteers to make deliveries.
If the schools are closed due to bad weather, COA programs are canceled.
Estimates for antiques. An appraiser will visit the senior center Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. to estimate the value of those treasured possessions. One item per family; please note that an estimate is not an appraisal. Free event.
Lunch at The Outlook, Westford, will be Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 11:30 a.m. American food, draft brews, live music. Van fee $2.
Using Google. A refresher workshop with tips and tricks for searching the web will be held Friday, Feb. 9, 11 a.m.
Grief support group meets Monday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. Share experiences and learn about the grieving process with a grief counselor.
Healthy boundaries for healthy living. Mental health counselor Karen Campbell will discuss setting boundaries with others for clear communications and reasonable expectations, Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m.
Memory Cafė, Wednesday, Feb. 14, 10:30 a.m. For those with dementia and their caregivers. A safe environment in which to socialize and talk with others faced with similar issues.
Those oldies but goodies. On Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m., Tony Funches of The Platters will sing their classic hits and other songs of the ’50s and ’60s. This event is free.
Art and lunch. On Thursday, Feb. 15, at 10:30 a.m. there will be a trip to the Mary Cosgrove Dolphin art gallery at Worcester State University. The current exhibit is “The Glow Show,” showcasing light. Lunch afterwards at Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Pub. Van fee $5; bring lunch money.
Musical entertainment with COA director Debbie Thompson takes place Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. Sing along with tunes from the ’60s to today.
Gentle yoga. Meditation in motion with Barbara Rich. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 4 p.m. via Zoom. Free. Call for the Zoom link.
Movies for grownups at the public library. Monday, Feb. 26, 1 p.m., “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.”
Medical stories. Harvard police surgeon Allan Kuong will share reflections and anecdotes of his long medical career, Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m.

Fuel assistance applications are now being accepted. Gross income limits are $45,392 for a household of one and $59,359 for a household of two. The town also offers HEAT (Harvard Energy Assistance Team) financial help. Call to learn more.
Help with computers. Adam and Doug are available for one-on-one computer training or anything related to computers or technology. Call for an appointment on Tuesdays and Fridays, or browse through their online computer resource center at sites.google.com/view/hcoa-lab.
COA van guidelines. Fees for the use of the van vary according to destination; payment in exact change is expected at the time of a ride. To schedule a ride, call the COA; 48 hours’ notice is requested. The van is disinfected daily and between riders. When there are four or more riders, masks are required.
Fitness classes. Fitness classes are offered online via Zoom and in person.
- Aerobics and weight-strengthening: Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 to 10 a.m., via Zoom. $36 per 12-class session. Join at any time and the fee will be prorated.
- No line dancing in February.
- Zumba gold: Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m. $5 per class. At the Harvard Senior Center.
- Yoga for everybody: Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. in person at the Congregational Church, 5 Still River Road, and via Zoom. $48 per six-week session; $10 for drop-ins. All in-person attendees must show proof of vaccination.
- Tai chi: Thursdays, 9 a.m. $25/month, $7/class. At the Congregational Church.
