The ambulance responded to six calls and transported three patients to the hospital, none with Advanced Life Support services on board. The ambulance was called to one motor vehicle crash. There were two calls for lift assists.
Tuesday, Feb. 6
Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire on Interstate 495 northbound, but the call was canceled.
Thursday, Feb. 8
At 10:03 a.m. the Council on Aging van driver called the Fire Department for some extra help with a passenger on Clinton Shore Drive because of the icy conditions. At 7:56 p.m. an East Bare Hill Road resident called because a fire alarm was sounding. The duty officer found no cause for the alarm, checked the detector, and replaced the batteries.
