I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation to the remarkable community of Harvard, and specifically to the Harvard Press and Harvard Fire Department, for helping make our holiday fair a wonderful success. The overwhelming turnout and enthusiastic engagement from the residents and beyond created a sense of unity and joy for all who attended. It is truly a testament to the warm sense of community that defines Harvard.
As the “new kid in town,” I am especially impressed and inspired by the continuity of these traditions in Harvard and the collaboration among the various organizations. In a time when smaller newspapers are disappearing, the Press’ commitment to encouraging community and dialogue is a rare treasure. The Harvard Fire Department’s longstanding tradition of bringing Santa and his cheerful elves into town year after year is deeply appreciated.
Again, my sincere thanks and wishes for a warm holiday season for all.
