The spring sports season at Bromfield starts with a bang this week, with every varsity squad scheduled for a game, match, or meet. Bromfield won’t field its own varsity softball or boys lacrosse team this year due to the low number of athletes who signed up for either sport. However, says Bromfield Athletic Director Dave Boisvert, the Ayer Shirley softball team and North Middlesex boys lacrosse team are open to Harvard players under co-op arrangements worked out this winter with the Bromfield athletic department.
