The girls varsity lacrosse players have jumped into first place in the Midland Wachusett A League with back-to-back wins over Westborough and Algonquin. The female Trojans are the only Bromfield team with a game scheduled for school vacation week.
Bromfield won’t field its own varsity softball or boys lacrosse team this year due to the small number of athletes who signed up for either sport. However, says Bromfield Athletic Director Dave Boisvert, the Ayer Shirley softball team and North Middlesex boys lacrosse team are open to Harvard players under co-op arrangements worked out this winter with the Bromfield athletic department.
