At 8:31 p.m. a fire alarm went off at a Myrick Lane home, but investigation found no fire—just burned food. At 9:54 p.m. Littleton police called for Harvard fire and ambulance to help with a single-car crash on Route 1 eastbound; however, Littleton quickly canceled the call.
Saturday, Feb. 26
At 5:42 p.m. an alarm came in from an Old Littleton Road residence; the officer on duty found there was carbon monoxide in the home from a heating system defect, and he advised the resident to get the system serviced.
Sunday, Feb. 27
At 11:04 a.m. a 911 caller sought help with a leaking oil tank; between 20 and 30 gallons spilled. Firefighters helped stop the leak and clean up the oil; they also called the state Department of Environmental Protection, as required.
Monday, Feb. 28
At 2:42 a.m. another call came in from the Old Littleton Road home with the carbon monoxide problem two days before; the duty officer again checked the house. At 2:55 p.m. firefighters were alerted to a crash on Route 495 northbound, but the call was canceled.
