Lionize winter
The Harvard Lions and Fruitlands Museum will host Winter Fest 2022 Saturday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Fruitlands, 102 Prospect Hill Road.
Activities include a 5K and 1-mile fun run or walk, hot chocolate bar, people’s choice chili and chili sidekick contests, Lions’ food tent, fire pits, apple cannons, human foosball, scavenger hunt, enchanted forest walk, kids activities, art galleries, craft vendors, human dog sled pull, snowman’s glen, and wassailing the orchard. Preserving garden pollinators
The Sudbury Valley Trustees will host a webinar Tuesday, Feb. 22, 7 to 8:30 p.m., to talk about pollinator-friendly gardens and to explain how to create community gardens that enhance the landscape and preserve native pollinators. The webinar will be led by SVT’s Native Pollination Systems Task Force and will include a Q&A.
