At a commencement ceremony on May 14 the University of Massachusetts Amherst awarded college degrees to the following students: Emily Armstrong, Kaeli Armstrong, Nicolas Bibbo, Joseph Calabresi, Andrew Cullinan, William Day, Margaret Gill, Madeline Hill, Maryana Jeon, Alexander Lee, Samuel Rosenfield, Matias Smalanskas, and Joanna Young.
Paul Chapman has graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, with a major in physics and a minor in Russian. Chapman is the son of John D. Chapman and Patricia Ruz and is a 2017 graduate of the Bromfield School. He graduated as a member of Sigma Xi, an honor society that recognizes excellence in scientific research.
Jesse Bazarnick has graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in aquaculture and fishery technology.
Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, has awarded degrees to two local students. Kate Connors graduated, cum laude and with university honors, with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, premedical studies. Alex Nikopoulos graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business, in information systems and analytics.
