Charlotte A. Klein, 87, of Harvard, died suddenly on July 18, 2021.
She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Bertrand A. and Virginia (Synnestevedt) Austin.
She married her high school sweetheart, Gerald A. Klein, and shortly thereafter moved to Massachusetts. She lived in Carlisle for many years before moving to Harvard.
Mrs. Klein enjoyed living abroad for periods of time, which included extensive travel throughout Europe with her husband.
She loved writing poetry and had three self-published books of poems.
She is survived by her children, Stephen R. Klein and Nancy J. Klein. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald, in 1987, as well as her two siblings, John Austin and Emily Starrett.
A graveside service was held at Green Cemetery, Bedford Road, Carlisle, on Friday, July 23.
