Scholarships available for college students
Financial assistance is available to second- and third-year college students from trust funds left to the town by Sarah Watson. Applications and instructions are available on the town website on the Select Board’s page, under News & Announcements. Applications can be submitted through the U.S. Postal Service and “must be submitted by July 15,” according to the instructions on the application. Drivers needed for COA van
The Council on Aging needs part-time, on-call van drivers, two to three days per week. Drivers are trained through MART, the Montachusett Regional Transit Authority. Loaves & Fishes

Open house at Hildreth Elementary School
The brand-new Hildreth Elementary School will be open to the public for tours Tuesday, July 20, and Thursday, July 22, from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Another open house will be held Thursday, Aug. 26, again from 2:30 to 6 p.m.
