Firefighters responded to two false alarms over the week; one at Dunkin’ Donuts and one at an East Bare Hill Road residence.
Saturday, June 5
At 10:36 a.m. a caller reported illegal burning on Ayer Road. The Fire Department responded and told the resident, who was burning building materials, to extinguish the fire.
Sunday, June 6
Firefighters were called to the scene of a four-car accident on Route 2 westbound at 5:49 p.m. One person was transported to the hospital; three others refused treatment. Firefighters helped with cleanup of the scene.
