Lily Calderwood, daughter of Robin Carlow and Bill Calderwood of Woodchuck Hill Road, married Karl Zukauskas on Sept. 26 at a small gathering at the bride’s family’s seaside cottage in East Orleans. The couple’s friend, Dr. Pam Rosato, Bromfield Class of 2004, officiated the ceremony.
Calderwood, Bromfield Class of 2005, earned a bachelor’s degree in science from Wheaton College in Norton and a Ph.D. in plant and soil science at the University of Vermont in Burlington. She is assistant professor of horticulture and the extension wild blueberry specialist at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine. Zukauskas, son of Brian and Joyce Zukauskas of Fairfield, Connecticut, earned a bachelor’s degree in aquaculture and aquarium science at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. He is an inspector for the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry. The couple lives in Winterport, Maine.
