The girls indoor track team dropped to second place in the Mid-Wach D League after narrowly losing to archrival Lunenburg last week. But the girls ended the week on a high note, with five girls relay teams among the top finishers in their events at the Jan. 18 Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Division 5 relays, led by the 1600-meter sprint medley relay team, which took first place and set a new league record. (See team results below.) With back-to-back wins last week, the girls swim team is now second among the nine schools of the Mid-Wach League. And the girls basketball team is having a turn-around year, with a 7-5 season overall.
