The Bromfield girls indoor track team is tied with archrival Lunenburg for first place in the Mid-Wach D League. Three athletes were among the top five finishers in their events at the Massachusetts Track State Coaches Northeast Invitational meet last weekend. (See team results below.) The alpine ski season began Tuesday with the first of three weekly Mass Bay West League Alpha Division grand slalom races at Nashoba Valley Ski Area. The boys placed first overall among the seven competing schools.

Girls indoor track (4-0, 4-0)

  • 1/10-1/12 MTSCA Northeast Invitational. Three girls placed among the top five in their events: Tessa McClain was first in the 1-mile run, Sam Schoenberg was third in the triple jump, and Liza Toll was fourth in the weight throw.
