A new event on March 2 featuring a road race, human dog sled race, human foosball, apple-shooting cannons, nature walks, great food and drinks—who had this idea? The Lions, of course, who led a fabulous launch of a new neighborhood tradition under the coordination of Joe Schmidt. As a participating organization, the Garden Club members enjoyed every minute and stand in awe of the planning and organizing behind this event. This turned out to be the perfect winter recharge after lots of gray skies and unpredictable weather, thanks to the Lions. We look forward to next year!
