Scott and Kim McCourt of Granite View Lane are very happy to announce the engagement of their daughter Rebecca McCourt to Ryan Andrews. Ryan is the son of former Harvard residents Karen and Bob Andrews. A May wedding is planned in Topsfield. Rebecca and Ryan, both graduates of the Bromfield School, are high school sweethearts. During his time at Bromfield, Ryan served as captain of the varsity rowing and swim teams and spent many summers teaching swimming and sailing lessons on Bare Hill Pond. Rebecca was an assistant director with the Bromfield Drama Society and editor-in-chief of the Bromfield Beacon.
Rebecca, a graduate of Skidmore College with a degree in business, is a consultant with Liberty Mutual Insurance in Boston. Ryan earned a degree in electromechanical engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a senior test engineer at iRobot Corporation in Bedford. Rebecca and Ryan currently live in Weston with their 2-year-old rescue dog Cody
