The Garden Club of Harvard welcomes the public to its meeting Monday, Oct. 29, at St. Theresa’s Church. Susan Hammond, a certified master gardener, will discuss the merits and methods of raised-bed gardening. Though the focus will be on growing vegetables, Hammond will talk about other plants that also do well in raised beds. Brunch will be served at 9:30 a.m., followed by a brief business meeting, and the presentation. New members are always welcome.
