Many, many volunteers made for a successful Celebration 2018

May 31, 2018

Having somewhat recovered from our post-event stupor, we would like to thank the many, many people who helped make Celebration 2018 happen and happen successfully. On Monday, all Bromfield School juniors and seniors were back in their seats in school after the weekend—success.

Celebration is a true community event with so much help from so many people, organizations, and businesses. Our core committee is fewer than 30 people—30 creative, hardworking, dedicated people who, with their teams, are the real engine behind the event and deserve much of the thanks. “On the day” (and night, and day after), an amazing amount of community support descends on Bromfield to help make the event happen (and take it all back down). Without the setup crew, check-in crew, food donators, food preppers, electricians, carpenters, painters, servers, chaperones, and tear-down crew, the event would not happen.

If you helped—even in a way that seems small to you—it is hugely appreciated; the Celebration team thanks you. If you donated—anything at all—the Celebration team thanks you. If your ability to support was only in spirit—we still thank you! If you dragged your kids, friends, neighbors, or co-workers to help—bravo! If you loved it—sign up to join (or lead!) a committee next year!
