Elizabeth Grady Powers, daughter of John Grady of Slough Road and the late Karen Powers, recently led the Wharton Business School team in a business analysis competition at Cornell University. All the major business schools were represented at the competition for a $10,000 prize, which Wharton won. Grady is president of the real estate club there and had won a scholarship to Wharton from Hathaway-Brown School in Cleveland, Ohio. She will join one of the world’s largest private equity firms, Blackstone Group, in Manhattan this summer.
