A few weeks ago we introduced the idea of sustaining subscriptions as a way to stabilize the financial path forward for the Press. Since then we’ve been gratified to receive a number of these subscriptions, for either five years at $500 or one year at $100. Our hope is that we’ll receive many more in the coming weeks.
At a time when the town is considering building a new elementary school, changing its government to charter-driven, debating final disposition of Devens, and determining the best use of tax dollars, an independent source of news is crucial to making sound, informed decisions.
