Press release submitted by Connections Physical Therapy
Connections Physical Therapy, formerly Wellesley Therapeutic Services, is excited to announce the addition of Chelsea Johnson PT, DPT, a recent graduate from Boston University to its staff starting in July, 2017. Dr. Johnson completed multiple clinical rotations in orthopedics (her most recent at the Mercy Hospital outpatient department in Portland, ME), evaluating and treating patients presenting with a variety of orthopedic injuries.
Steve Poulin, PT, DPT, the Regional Director, is excited about the addition. “Chelsea is an energetic addition to the Harvard clinic. She has gained tremendous skills while in school and will continue to develop into the type of therapist our patients have come to expect from Connections Physical Therapy.”
Leading the hiring search was Connections Physical Therapy’s Vice President, Max Cantor, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS who reports “Chelsea is enthusiastic about the Physical Therapy profession and a great fit for the culture of our clinic. She brings knowledge of cutting edge research and trends in PT. With continued growth in our Harvard clinic, we are thrilled to have the expertise, energy, and passion Dr. Johnson brings to our team.”
Dr. Johnson has a special interest in working with patients who experience chronic pain as well as low back and neck pain. Treating these patients allows her to utilize her knowledge on pain science as well as the manual skills she has gained while training.
