Fourth-graders in the Harvard Junior Girl Scout Troop 41003 helped plant flowers at Hildreth House, Friday, May 19. Along with the help of gardener extraordinaire Kathy Hewett, the girls planted an assortment of petunias, canna, gazania, geranium, impatiens, ivy, and verbena in pots at the entrances.
The flower planting not only added some color to Hildreth House (where the troop holds its meetings), but also helped the girls finish the requirements for their gardening badge.
