Parkinson’s disease in-service
On Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 12:30 p.m. Town Nurse Tamara Bedard will present an informal in-service program for those living with Parkinson’s disease or caring for someone with Parkinson’s. Bedard will answer questions and have referral information available.
Da Vinci exhibit at Museum of Science
Rediscover the legacy of Leonardo da Vinci at the Museum of Science on Wednesday, Feb. 22. This exhibit brings to life the genius of da Vinci as an inventor, artist, scientist, anatomist, engineer, architect, sculptor, and philosopher. Free with the museum’s senior ticket price of $21. No charge for the van, which leaves at 10 a.m.
Computer support and workshops
COA’s computer gurus will be on hand each Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the computer lab for help and suggestions about working with your computer. To minimize wait time, please call to schedule an appointment.
In addition to the Tuesday and Friday labs, a workshop session focusing on the use of iPhones and iPads will be held Friday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m.
Fort Devens Museum and lunch at Tiny’s
Join the COA for a guided tour of the Fort Devens Museum followed by lunch at Tiny’s in Ayer on Friday, Feb. 24. The museum has acquired a collection of more than 3,000 artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the land, buildings, soldiers, and families that were once part of New England’s largest military base. The van will leave at 10 a.m. No charge for the van and tour.
Well-adult clinic
Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Harvard Board of Health will hold a well-adult clinic Tuesday, March 21, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at St. Theresa’s Church. Boston Flower Show
Visit the Boston Flower Show with the COA at the Seaport World Trade Center on Wednesday, March 22. The van will leave Havard at 10 a.m. Admission is $17, payable at the show; no charge for the van.
