Multimedia gallery show and sale
Start your holiday shopping early on Saturday, Nov. 19, 7 to 10 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 20, noon to 4:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church. Glassware, jewelry, pastel paintings, photography, and unique art will be featured; homemade soups and cider will be available. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Council on Aging’s fund for a new wheelchair-accessible van.
For mind, body, and soul

- Weight strengthening and aerobics, Monday and Wednesday, 9 to 10 a.m., Congregational Church
- Line dancing, Monday, 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., Congregational Church
- Tai chi, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 to 10 a.m., Fellowship Building
- Yoga, Tuesday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Congregational Church
- Zumba, Friday, 9 to 9:45 a.m., Fellowship Building
Fuel assistance available
The heating season has arrived, and predictions for the coming winter are for lots of snow and cold. The state gross annual income limits for fuel assistance are $34,001 for a household of one person and $44,463 for a household of two. In addition, Harvard offers a HEAT (Harvard Energy Assistance Team) program. Anyone concerned about paying heating bills is encouraged to contact the COA.
Winter display at Tower Hill
Join the COA for a display of holiday lights at Tower Hill’s eight acres of gardens and trees on Wednesday, Dec. 7. The van will leave St. Theresa’s at 4:30 p.m. and will return at approximately 8:30 p.m. Fee is $10 cash plus optional food at Tower Hill. Let the COA know if you need to be picked up at home.
