League of Women Voters thanks contributors to town meetings forum

October 20, 2016

The League of Women Voters of Harvard would like to thank the representatives of MassDevelopment (Thatcher Kezer), Conservation Commission (Wendy Sisson), Harvard Conservation Trust (Peter Dorward), Energy Committee (Eric Broadbent), Broadband Committee (Olivier Beauchemin), Planning Board (Erin McBee), Finance Committee (Laura Vilain), Board of Selectmen (Stu Sklar), and the Council on Aging Board of Directors (Deb Thomson) for providing an informative session on Monday night on the warrant articles for the upcoming Super (for Devens zoning article) and Special Town Meetings on Monday, Oct. 24. Our thoughtful and well-prepared presenters kept to a tight time schedule, were all able to provide clear explanations of the warrant request, and fielded questions. Presentation materials can be found on the Harvard LWV website at lwvharvard.org/blog.aspx.

Also, thanks to Bill Cordner and Judy Wong for recording the session.

We are fortunate to have such talented and articulate volunteers engaged in the kinds of research, outreach, and just plain hard work that makes Harvard a strong community.
