On behalf of the Social Justice Ministries Council of the Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church, we write to express our dismay about the anti-Islamic graffiti, which we understand was violent in nature, that appeared on the Route 2 bridge last week. We send our empathy and encouragement to any and all Muslims who saw it, and we hope this can begin a dialogue in our town about making Harvard a community where there is no place for hate or harassment.
