The Bromfield Trojans faced the Nipmuc Warriors Friday, Oct. 21, trouncing them 5–0. On Monday, Oct. 24, they challenged the Oakmont Spartans and won 4–0.

On Friday, senior Alex Lee scored the first goal for Bromfield two minutes into the game, while senior Colin Grant, with an assist from senior Stuart Irwin, scored the second 13 minutes in. Senior Omar Al-Homsi took the next goal before the end of the first half; junior Jack Armstrong followed after halftime with the fourth goal; and Reilly Fitzsimmons finished with the fifth. Junior Austin Franklin made five saves during the game, protecting the Trojan goal from any Warrior shots. Coach Tom Hill commented that even on the wet field, the Trojans played very well against a difficult opponent.
On Monday, the Trojans faced the Spartans at home on a cold and windy afternoon. Armstrong scored the first goal with a shot into the upper-left corner of the net. Irwin and Al-Homsi followed with the next two, and sophomore Charlie Pappas finished with the fourth goal in the second half.
Both teams made several bad passes during the game that resulted in both teams losing the ball on a couple of occasions and only one goal being scored in the second half. The Trojans kept their usual pattern of offense, having left and right wings dribbling up the field to cross into the middle. Both teams’ defenses played a strong game, with multiple interceptions of passes from the Spartan side, and strong tackling and offensive support on the Trojan side.
The Trojans’ overall record now stands at 12–0–3, while their league record stands at 8–0, leaving them first among their five Wachusett D rivals.
