Helpers needed at
Flea Market booth
The Friends of the Council on Aging are collecting treasures to sell at their booth at the Annual Harvard Flea Market, Saturday, Oct. 8, and need volunteers to help on that day. Help is needed to set up in the morning and to work at the booth for a shift during the day. Call Sharon Briggs at 508-451-7076 to lend a hand.
What Is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused attention. The COA is considering bringing Quigong to Harvard’s seniors. A minimum of eight participants is needed. There would be two classes per week, and the fee would be $40 per month. Please call the COA office if you are interested.
