We want to thank everyone who made Hometown Authors Night (Sept. 23) such a great success! Speaking in the “Art Room” of Old Bromfield (aka Volunteers Hall) was very meaningful to all of us, as was the wonderful book-signing reception upstairs at the Harvard General Store. Many thanks to Pat Jennings and Helen Batchelder for organizing the evening, the Warner Free Lecture committee, Scott Hayward and Deborah Sauvé at the Harvard General Store, Dawn Rennert and the Concord Bookshop, and Carlene Phillips at the Harvard Press. A special thanks to Hildreth Elementary and the Bromfield Middle School for our fun school visits. Most of all, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to all the hometown friends who turned out to support us. It’s a night we’ll never forget!
