Sarah P. Mitchell passed away peacefully in St. Augustine, Florida, Friday, June 10, 2016.

She was born to Joseph and Mary Mitchell on April 8, 1968, in Leominster, Massachusetts. Sarah attended the University of Massachusetts and The College of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton. Sarah lived life to its fullest and jumped into everything she did with both feet. She lit up every room she ever entered with her beauty and outgoing personality. Sarah also loved adventures and traveling in the United States and Europe.

She was dedicated to caring for her family and was always a source of comfort, light, and love to those around her.

Sarah will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her mother, Mary Mitchell; her sisters Mary Ellen Besnia and Martina Sullivan; her brothers Joseph and James Mitchell; her nieces Rachel, Katelyn, Amanda, and Patrice and Meaghan of Harvard; and her great-nephew Grant. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph, and by her sister Ann Mitchell.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church on Friday, June 24, 2016 in St. Augustine, Florida. A private burial will be held in Clinton, Massachusetts at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Anastasia Catholic Church Building Fund or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Craig Funeral Home is assisting the family.
