The girls team had six individual wins as well as one winning relay. In the sprint events, sophomore Chloe Alfieri took first in both the 200-meter and the 400-meter. The Trojans took first in all four jumping events, with senior Amy Hunter finishing first in both the long jump and the triple jump, eighth-grader Sam Schoenberg winning in the high jump, and sophomore Arielle Sclar taking first in the pole vault. Junior Paul Chapman also scored in the 800-meter, finishing fifth in a field of 11 runners. In the field events, senior Beck Peterson placed in both the shot put and the discus, with third and second respectively. Senior Ben Neville and junior Jamie Barrett scored in the field events as well, with fourth-place finishes in the long jump and the pole vault.

Bromfield’s next meet is the Central/Western Division II Championships. The pentathlon and the girls pole vault will take place Thursday at Nashoba Regional High School, and the rest of the events will take place Saturday at Fitchburg State University.
