Preston Murphy passed away suddenly on Jan. 30, 2016, in Essex, Maryland.
Born Jan. 18, 1977, in Baltimore, Maryland, Preston is survived by his wife, Kathy Murphy; his stepchildren, Kylen and Kaybren Schleupner; his parents, Edward and Margaret Murphy; and his siblings, Kristen Murphy, Kara and David Saranich, Brian Murphy and Lynsey Heffernan, Shannon and Norman Dandridge, Beverly McLaughlin, and Corey McLaughlin. He was predeceased by brothers Michael Murphy and Gabriel McLaughlin. Cherished uncle of many, he greatly enjoyed time with family and many friends.
There will be a memorial Mass Saturday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish (St. Theresa’s) in Harvard, followed by a reception and celebration of his life at the home of his parents at 15 Harris Lane.
