The Healing Garden provides a community of support, therapeutic services and education to facilitate healing for those experiencing cancer.

In this 90 minute class you will learn and practice EFT. The goal is to have you experience the incredible benefits of “tapping away” anything and everything that has you in a state of overwhelm. You will leave feeling calmer, more able to enjoy your busy, crazy life and the ability to apply EFT to yourself during times of feeling overwhelmed.

Restorative Yoga centers on your breath and body-alligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. Props are used to help you to hold certain poses and postures longer without effort or straining. Restorative Yoga calms and heals the body and mind.

Experience a deep sense of calm and wellbeing with our beginning Reiki practitioners that are also clients of the Healing Garden. The practitioners will be providing 20 minute sessions.
MAT PILATES FOR BUILDING STRENGTH

Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. The blend of strngth and flexibility improves posture and reduces stress.
CREATING YOUR PERSONAL MANDALA

Mandalas are an ancient, meditative art form used by many cultures to reach the inner self. Using simple techniques and interesting mediums, we’ll explore several ways to use this art form to help us slow down, release tension, and nurture our body’s innate healing powers.

She has a daily blog “Living with Cancer” where she blogs about the emotional and physical world of cancer treatment. She will present some of the common issues related to intimacy during and after cancer. She will bring in exercises and activities that will nelp reestablish intimacy between couples who are living with cancer and it’s aftermath. In living with cancer or other health crises, those who journal report having an enhanced understanding of themselves, are more in touch with their needs and are better able to cope. This session will explore themes of compassion and forgiveness through the practice of journal writing. Attendees are invited to bring in written prompts and/or visual images that will kindle group members’ journaling and the meaning of these themes in their lives.

This weekly workshop is designed to help you relax, unwind and bring your attention to the music as a meditative tool. As a musician for over 30 years and a certified energy practitioner, Bernadette intuitively blends the fusion of music, group singing, chanting, with sound and energy medicine techniques to create a musically calming oasis that relaxes the mind and helps promote the body’s own natural ability to balance itself. When the mind relaxes, the body follows.
