One of the benefits of, and reason for, a Super Town Meeting is that multiple towns vote on common issues at the same time without the knowledge of how the other towns have voted, so as not to be influenced in either direction by the wishes of those voters. For an “official” of the Harvard Press, whose June 5 front-page motto was “Timing is everything,” I felt it was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate of Mr. Robbins to announce results of the votes from the other participating towns before we had the chance to vote on Article 4. It did not change my vote on the issue at hand, yet it did change my opinion of Mr. Robbins and the Harvard Press.
