Lela Festa, a seventh-grade student at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Still River, won the recent 2015 North Central Massachusetts Regional Spelling Bee. Festa will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., at the end of May. Festa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Festa of Still River, is the first Immaculate Heart of Mary School student to reach the national competition.
