The Bromfield School Art Club participated in a painting workshop last month led by famed muralist Bruce Davidson. He coached students during a two-hour acrylics workshop in which they painted local wildlife scenes on canvas and created a mural. The students painted birds, deer, wolves, turtles, rabbits, cats, a black bear that has been spotted around town, and an otter. Heidi Creighton Ciampa, the club’s adviser, said the workshop attracted more than a dozen student, in grades 6 to 12. Bromfield art teachers Elizabeth Hoorneman and Cindy Harris lent their support at the event. The mural will be on display at the Bromfield School upon its completion this spring.
