On the road with COA

On Wednesday, March 18, the Council on Aging will travel to Heifer International’s Overlook Farm in Rutland. Heifer International’s goal is to empower third-world families to turn hunger and poverty into hope and prosperity by teaching them how to grow gardens and raise farm animals for food. Participants on the trip will start with a brunch of homemade pancakes, followed by a short video and a tour of the farm. The cost of this trip is $25 including the cost of brunch. Payment is due by March 4
