On behalf of the town of Harvard Ecumenical Christmas Pageant planning committee, I would like to extend our deep appreciation to all community members who helped, in ways big and small, to make this year’s annual event a success. This year we had nearly 60 children in grades 2 through 12 singing in the choir, rehearsing every Sunday since early November, and 30 more children in roles, such as angels and shepherds. Many older students donated hours of time also as musicians, dance teachers, lighting crew, greeters, and members of the cleaning crew. We also thank the Bromfield School National Honor Society members who elfishly served cocoa and cookies to all after the caroling and lighting of the tree. We also would like to thank the town of Harvard Parks and Recreation department for restringing our town Common Christmas tree with new lights and making it look lovely. We also thank the Nashoba Valley Concert Band for festive music at the tree lighting.
There are so many others who behind the scenes generously and kindly donate their invaluable time and talent to this special annual event, and this is what makes it truly special. We are grateful to all of you. Thank you to all parents of participants and to all those who attended.
