Deb Thomson has been a thoughtful and engaged member of the League of Women Voters’ “Civility Matters” project. During the planning and implementation of our open forum, she consistently brought forth ideas to emphasize the importance of bringing people of diverse opinions to the discussion. She understands, at a very fundamental level, that polarization does not promote dialogue, and without dialogue a community cannot solve its problems effectively. That is why I will be voting for Deb Thomson for Board of Selectmen on Nov. 4.
